We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever they use to read it: a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or their own colours.

The standard we work to

This website is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, in both the light and the dark theme. You should be able to use every page with a keyboard alone, zoom to 200% without scrolling sideways, and use it with a screen reader.

How we checked it

Each change to the website's code is checked with automated accessibility tools: every page, in the light and the dark theme, at desktop and phone sizes, against the parts of WCAG 2.2 AA that tools can test. We also check that every page works with a keyboard alone, in reading order, and that none scrolls sideways on a narrow screen or at 200% zoom. Changes to the words are not checked automatically. We have not yet had the website checked by hand, so we cannot yet say it fully meets the standard.

Parts that do not work yet

The light and dark button needs JavaScript. Without it, the button is not shown, and the website follows your device's setting.
